Elgin, Ill., Jan. 2.—Special Telegram.—Dr. Leonard Jucket, aged 76, who settled in Chicago in 1836, and was an ordained speaker of Relgio-Philosophical Society, is dead. He had been in active work up to half a dozen years ago, when he retired. In speech and manner he was a gentleman of the old school, refined in his taste, courteous to all, and always hospitable to his friends.

A brief note of explanation: This text is randomly generated from obituaries I culled out of tun-of-the-century New Englend newspapers. The parts have been arranged in such a way as to always “make sense,” if there is any sense in that.
